The Far North Queensland Rural Division of General Practice is a ‘Not for Profit’ organisation which has operated in tropical north Queensland since 1993.

Formed originally as a support organisation for general practice the Division’s role has expanded over the last eight years to include support, facilitation and delivery of outstanding primary health care services for our community as well as operating the Weipa general practice and the provision of Occupational Health and Safety Services to Rio Tinto and other mining companies.
